BEHIND THE LENS
Leonard-Andrew Macatol is a freelance filmmaker specializing in DSLR technology owning multiple DSLR cameras along with other essential filmmaking tools. He also works with a wide range cameras including but not limited to Canon, Sony, and Panasonic. Leo has shot commercials, events, music videos, theatrical, documentary and short form narrative films for various clients and has written and directed several of his own films. He has also produced an episode of NENTV (Neighborhood Empowerment Network) show "Kiosk", a San Francisco City Hall’s public service show and an online web series. Leo has worked with various production company such as Ticking Time Productions, OpenLine Media, GreenBiz, and with networks such as CBS, NBC, GMA, Free Speech TV, and TradioV.
Prior to this, Leo served honorably in the United States Air Force, was a member of the McChord Air Force Base Honor Guard, and served 2 tours in the Middle East between 2005 and 2007. He completed film school and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Filmmaking & Video Production from the Art Institute of California - San Francisco, a campus of Argosy University. Leo is currently attending University of Phoenix to attain his Masters in Business Administration.
